      I.   Mission 

The library as a ministry of Christ Community Church, under the oversight of the Elders, exists to support and promote the making of disciples in the Church of Jesus Christ. The library seeks to accomplish this through the purchase, organization, and administration of collections of theologically sound books, and by providing an inviting place that is set apart for study and reading throughout the week.

     II.   Collection

Our library contains more than 2300 hundred volumes of carefully selected Evangelical and Reformed books. Our collected works include: the Christian classics, Church history, Bible commentaries, biographies, works of theology, topical studies, children's books, missions, and homeschool resources.

    III.   Hours of Operation

At the following times the library will be open for use. Books may be turned in or signed out at these times. (Note: to gain access to the building during non-office hours, open the outdoor closet on the right-hand side of the main entry doors. There is a doorbell on the backside of that closet door, press it and then make sure that it is closed afterwards. The doorbell is in this location because doorbells in plain view are frequently damaged or stolen).

    IV.   Library Policies

Sign-out:

Books are due back 60 days after checkout. You can speak to the librarians if you would like to extend your due date. (Cost of replacement is required for any books not returned by due date.)

Library cards:

A library card is required to sign out books and can be purchased for $2. To receive a card submit payment along with the registration form for a card which can be found in the lobby.

Library Rules:

The library is a quiet space for reading and studying. It is expected, within reason, that when we are in the new library we will refrain from talking or making unnecessary noise. This does not include speaking to the librarian in charge for assistance with signing out books, etc. The one exception to this rule is Sundays after the service, when this rule is relaxed significantly.

Absolutely no food at any time in the library.

No drinks in the library other than water/tea/coffee in a closed lid cup.

     VI.   Location

The library is situated on the upper floor above the entrance to the building and is accessible via stairs or by means of the elevator.
